Anthea Joseph received an unexpected extra Christmas present when she won a new Ixon Duchess motorcycle jacket as a result of a competition run by two local firms, Ward Gethin Solicitors in King's Lynn and GirlsBike2 in Wisbech.
Ward Gethin Solicitors are founder members of the British Motorcycle Federation's Biker Legal Line, and have a Motorcycle Unit, run by partner Iain Grimes and solicitor Neil John, details of which can be found at www.wardgethin.co.uk . They are keen to spread the word among local bike enthusiasts that when they need legal advice, the right help is available locally.
GirlsBike2, who specialise in motorcycle clothing for female bikers, opened a shop in Kirkgate Street, Walsoken in early 2007 and are pleased with the way business is taking off. They have been pleasantly surprised by the distances some of their customers travel to visit the store but are also keen to encourage more local bikers to come and browse.
