Association of Contentious Trust and Probate Specialists
The Association was established for lawyers specialising in contentious trust and probate work. It provides a forum for specialists to exchange experience and know-how in this specialist area. Members hold seminars, conferences and meetings to promote the enhancement of the specific skills specialisation and expertise in this area.
The Notaries Society
The Notaries Society is the society representing the 900 or so Notaries Public practising in England and Wales. Notaries are primarily concerned with the authentication and certification of signatures and documents for use abroad.

The Law Society's Lexcel accreditation is recognised as the gold-star legal quality mark.
The Lexcel practice management standard is only awarded to solicitors firms who meet the highest management and client care standards. Lexcel accredited practices undergo rigorous independent assessment every year to ensure they meet required standards of excellence in areas such as client care, case management and risk management.
Law Society Conveyancing Quality Accreditation
The Law Society's Conveyancing Quality Scheme accreditation is awarded after rigorous examination and testing to confirm that the firm has a high level of knowledge, skill, experience and best practice in the area of residential property transactions. Our lawyers undergo a strict assessment, compulsory training, self reporting, random audits and annual reviews to maintain our CQS status.
The scheme is recognised by the Council of Mortgage Lenders, the Building Societies Association, Legal Ombudsman and the Association of British Insurers.

Cyber Essentials Plus has the Cyber Essentials trademark simplicity of approach, and the protections needed to put in place are the same, but for Cyber Essentials Plus a hands-on technical verification is also carried out.
Resolution Collaborative Lawyers

The Help and Support for Separated Families (HSSF) Mark
The Help and Support for Separated Families (HSSF) Mark is part of the Government’s Help and Support for Separated Families initiative. This provides a range of tools, resources and interventions designed to help parents work together across a range of issues they may face when separating. A key aim is to promote a more collaborative approach to post-separation parenting and minimise the impact on children.
The Mark is recognition that services meet a set of standards developed by the sector and endorsed by Government. In order to be awarded the HSSF Mark, individuals and organisations must demonstrate that they:
•Support collaboration between both parents
•Help couples work together to resolve disputes (where it is appropriate and safe to do so)
•Encourage parents to focus on the interests of their children.
College of Mediators
The College of Mediators is a membership body for mediators working in all areas of practice, family, workplace, community, intergenerational, special educational needs, disability, elder, civil and commercial, restorative practice and more.
Civil Mediation Council
The CMC is a charity which aims to promote the resolution of conflicts and disputes by encouraging the use of mediation and other dispute resolution techniques and methods and to advance the education of the public in matters related to this.
