About Me

I come from a farming family and was born in Cambridge and brought up in the small village of Chittering just outside of Ely. I moved to Wrexham, North Wales in 1993. My children were born in Wrexham and grew up there. Both of my girls are now in their early 20s and loving life in London.

I love going for walks, DIY, Gardening, Art and reading. I am never happier than when I have a project. I also enjoy trips to the theatre, films and music.

My Work History & Experience

I have always had an interest in the law and my very first job was for a law firm in Cambridge as a secretary. I enjoyed working in the Firm so much that I decided to undertake a distance learning Law Degree at Nottingham Trent University.

On completing my studies I was living and working in Wrexham. I worked firstly as a secretary, then trainee until I qualified in 1998. I worked at the same firm from 1993 – 2003 and 2004 - 2024. Initially I worked in Civil Litigation and Personal Injury. I also had the opportunity to undertake a small amount of Criminal Litigation. In 2004 I found my real niche and passion in Property and have been enjoying working in residential conveyancing ever since. I have a wide expertise in residential property law. Having worked both in England and Wales I am familiar with the differences in English and Welsh laws so far as property is concerned – stamp duty/land transaction tax being just one of those.

I have been accredited under the Conveyancing Quality Scheme for many years.

My Time at Ward Gethin Archer

I joined WGA in May 2024 as a Solicitor in the Residential Property Department.

I am responsible for all aspects of residential conveyancing, including (but not limited to) sales and purchases, freehold and leasehold, transfer of equity, probate sales, mortgages, remortgages, equity release and all aspects of residential conveyancing.

WGA is a very friendly and welcoming place to work. I am looking forward to working at WGA and assisting clients in their property and property related transactions. I know how stressful a property transaction can be and I hope to be able to get to know and support and guide my clients through the process. I also look forward to working in Ely.

What I Can Do For You

I enjoy property challenges and working out what my client wants to achieve and the way to do that. I also want to deal with matters as efficiently as timeously as possible and at the same time explain the process and manage expectations whilst being friendly and approachable.
