About Me
I am a Solicitor in the Private Client department based at our Dereham office. I enjoy dance, art, theatre and travelling.
My Work History & Experience
I completed my law degree at Manchester Metropolitan University and graduated with honors in 1998. I then completed the Bar Vocational Course at the MMU and was called to the bar at Lincoln’s Inn, London in 1999.
From 1999 to 2009 I worked at one of Manchester’s leading criminal law firms specializing in the defence of murder and manslaughter. I also headed up the general Crown Court department. I took my Qualified Lawyer’s Transfer Test in Oxford in 2007 and cross qualified as a Solicitor.
From 2009 to 2017 I became a consultant based in Manchester in serious crime and also prison law attending parole hearings around the country.
In 2017 I moved from my home in Cheshire with my two children to Norfolk. In 2018 I retrained into private client law whilst also affiliated to a firm in Staffordshire until 2022 undertaking prison law work.

I joined Ward Gethin Archer in October 2022 and am based at the Dereham office as a private client Solicitor.
