About Me

I have lived in the Cambridgeshire area for the last 17 years and enjoy travelling and spending time with my family. My life experience, understanding of family dynamics and approachability, gives me the edge when it comes to gaining the trust and respect of clients from all walks of life.

My Work History & Experience

I have worked in family law for the last nine years. I pride myself on being client-focussed, by listening, identifying salient points and giving articulate, but most importantly, understandable, advice.

I advise on all aspects of Family Law, including pre-nuptial agreements, separation, divorce, and civil partnership dissolution.

Domestic abuse is often an issue, and I offer an empathetic service, which includes making or defending applications for Non-Molestation and Occupation Orders.

I guide clients through the minefield of financial issues following a relationship breakdown, and thrive on drilling down to the finer details of matrimonial finances. I operate in a calm but determined manner to pursue a fair solution through skilful negotiation. My aim is to make family law accessible by breaking down the legal jargon and advising on realistic outcomes which meet the future needs of those involved.

My caseload includes dealing with issues such as where children should live, and when and how often they should spend time with parents. Whilst prioritising the best interests of the child/ren involved, I deal with relocations, specific issues such as school choices, and prohibited steps orders.

My Time at Ward Gethin Archer

I joined the firm in January 2024, after a nine-year stint at another Essex firm. I enjoy being part of a progressive team of family lawyers who work together to achieve the best possible outcome for a wide range of clients across East Anglia.

I am a member of Resolution, an organisation which is committed to resolving family disputes in a constructive and conciliatory manner.

What I Can Do For You

Separation, divorce, finances and children are emotive issues which need to be dealt with in a constructive and understanding manner. I believe tailored advice is critical, as no two cases are the same. I genuinely enjoy my job and am passionate about family law, which is reflected in the service I offer to my clients.
