Born and bred in Norfolk, I moved to West Yorkshire for ten years before returning in 2005. I am married with two children.
Until recently, I played for Sandringham Cricket Club having previously represented both Cambridgeshire and Norfolk at county level.
I am a keen follower of Norwich City Football Club and hold a season ticket. More recently I have started following King’s Lynn Stars Speedway and attend as many home meetings as possible.
I completed the Graduate Diploma in Law and the Legal Practice Course at Leeds Metropolitan University qualifying as a solicitor in 2007.
I have been been working in legal environment since 2007, and since qualification I have specialised in commercial matters.
I joined Ward Gethin Archer in 2012 as a Director and am responsible for jointly running the Commercial Department.
I handle all areas of commercial property including the sale and purchase of premises, leases, options and easements. I also act on commercial law matters including the sale and purchase of business assets and share sales, and purchases and shareholders agreements along with partnership matters.
A highlight of my time with the firm includes acting for an academy trust in the conversion of a number of schools to academy status.
I especially enjoy working at Ward Gethin Archer because of the variety of clients that the firm attracts.
I act for a wide range of clients from small businesses to large companies. I also act for private individuals, pension funds, partnerships, academy trusts and sports organisations.
I look to work with clients in finding a practical solution to their matter and aim to keep the client informed at all stages.
